As per the latest reports, the phera ceremony of Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt is over and they are now husband and wife. The couple tied the knot in an intimate ceremony today afternoon in the presence of their families and a few close industry friends, including Karan Johar and Ayan Mukerji. Reportedly,  Karan Johar, who launched the actress in Bollywood, tied the knot of Ranbir-Alia during pheras and Rishi Kapoor's photo was kept at the mandap. Notably, Ranbir and Alia have already been declared as each other's spouses by Wikipedia. 

Yes, you read that right! The couple’s phera ceremony is over and they will be pronounced husband and wife in a matter of few minutes. But before they are officially announced man and wife, Wikipedia has already declared Ranbir and Alia as each other’s spouses. Earlier, Alia's uncle Robin, who is Mahesh Bhatt's half-brother had confirmed the couple’s wedding date and said the duo will get married in a 4-day event. Kapoor family members arrived in style for the wedding. A few hours ago, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan were spotted twinning in pink outfits. Karisma Kapoor too was at her sartorial best. Besides them, Akash, Shloka Ambani, Navya Naveli with her parents Shweta Bachchan and Nikhil Nanda attended, and Alia Bhatt’s bestie Akansha Ranjan were spotted at the wedding. 

Meanwhile, as per the latest update, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor will not host a wedding reception. Confirming the same, choreographer Rajendra Singh told India Today, “Reception hain hi nahi (There is no reception). No, there’s nothing happening.”
